Venus moves into Aquarius on December 20th, bringing the cool breeze of freedom and detachment to relationships. Aquarians are capable of committing to a partner (no matter what you've heard) but the commitment has to be on their terms. That means room to move and the partner's acceptance of who Mr./Ms. Aquarius truly is.
Sounds easy enough. But it's difficult for most people to not impose their ideas of what a relationship should be. And that's what this transit of Venus is about: accepting that your way of partnering up might be due for an overhaul. Just to drive this point home, Venus will be challenged (in a configuration called a T-Square) by Jupiter in possessive Taurus and the Moon in obsessive Scorpio (on December 20th only). Some people will be agitating for breathing room while others will be holding on for dear life.
Guess who succeeds? Which side will you be on?
You'll feel this T-Square most intensely if you have planets or angles (cusps of the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses) from 0-4 degrees Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio. For the rest of you, Venus will be in Aquarius until January 14th so find the area of your chart that Aquarius occupies. This is the part of your life where Venus will attract something (or someone) intriguing/rewarding/exciting if you break the rules.
